DAVENPORT, Iowa–(BUSINESS WIRE)–United Healthcare today opened a new office in Davenport and announced the expansion of its West Des Moines headquarters. The company has added nearly 270 new positions in the two locations to serve people enrolled in its Medicaid plan, adding to the 675 United Healthcare jobs recently created specifically to serve Iowa’s Medicaid program.
United Healthcare is one of the health plans selected to participate in the IA Health Link program. The Davenport and West Des Moines offices will further support the nearly 200,000 Iowans that United Healthcare expects to serve with essential health care benefits.
